President Biden and Vice President Harris believe that every person has a right to breathe clean air, drink clean water, and live in a healthy community – now and into the future.
Guided by that core belief, the Biden-Harris Administration is leading the most ambitious environmental justice agenda in history.
“Environmental justice” means, in part, the just treatment and meaningful involvement of all people, regardless of income, race, color, national origin, Tribal affiliation, or disability, in agency decision-making and other Federal activities that affect human health and the environment.
